Through this process, bidders are consulted on tender documents/RFP for work requirements. These include work obligations and related collective agreements, as well as work schedule obligations. There are currently 18 (18) collective agreements of the Electrical Power Systems Construction Association (EPSCA). These agreements are negotiated and managed by EPSCA on behalf of Hydro One and its contractors. Contractors are required to comply with the terms of these EPSCA agreements while working at Hydro One sites. The following agreements and salary plans can be find on the EPSCA website: Explore the work requirements for wages and collective agreements for OPG suppliers and partners. It is an obligation for the contractor to determine workplace employment contracts through the surcharge provisions (PDFs) contained in collective agreements. Form B → provisions of collective agreements does not apply; With regard to the daily travel/space and advice allowance for tenders, please note that all EPSCA/CUSW/LIUNA OPDC contracts are FIRM BID. This means that any daily, travel or travel and transportation allowances, as described in the corresponding articles for each EPSCA/CUSW/LIUNA OPDC agreement, will not be reimbursed by Hydro One.

However, it is still the responsibility of the contractor to pay its staff the corresponding rate of travel/board of directors, as stipulated in the various collective agreements. Performing work under EPSCA contracts If the CEF finds that the work must be done as a Form B, the contractor is not required to comply with the provisions of the collective agreements, but must pay a “fair” rate of pay, as described in the Form B communication. An electronic working paper is published and contains the following information: See the current collective agreements and compensation plans for the CUSW and BACU.
